The ICEY TEK 160L Long Split Lid is built for serious offshore fishing. Known as the mackerel box, the long internal floor is designed to fit big fish laid flat — from Spanish mackerel and jewfish through to heavy pelagics. When you've put in the effort offshore, this is the kind of capacity that helps bring your catch home in good condition.
The split lid is practical on deck. Open one side to drop a fish in while keeping the rest closed, holding temperature and reducing heat gain during the day.
Rotomoulded from tough polyethylene and built for harsh conditions. Load it up and head offshore with confidence.
Why It Works
- Split Lid Access: Open just half the cooler to drop in a fish, keeping the other half sealed. The central split is fitted with an additional rubber seal to prevent heat gain at the join.
- 80mm Lid Insulation: Heavy-duty thermal barrier where overhead sun hits hardest, backed by 40–45mm insulated walls and base for multi-day ice life in tough Australian conditions.
- Four Heavy-Duty Hinges: Four injection-moulded hinges with a 90-degree stop support the full length of the lid and remove the need for internal ropes that snag on fins, tackle, or gear.
- Practical Deck Layout: The long format gives you enough floor space to keep catch on one side and food or drinks on the other — separate, organised, and cold.
- Rotomoulded Build: Seamless, UV-stabilised polyethylene shell built to handle the vibration of offshore runs and the impact of heavy loads.
